Owensboro Mental & Health Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team in Springfield, Georgia. This full-time role is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth technology to provide therapeutic services. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend commitments, promoting a healthy work-life balance. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy: Lead engaging sessions that promote connection among clients, encouraging them to share experiences and learn collaboratively.

• Conducting individual therapy: Provide tailored counseling sessions where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop effective coping strategies.

• Creating treatment plans: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that are in line with their unique needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to assess client progress and outcomes consistently, ensuring that the therapeutic approach remains effective.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team: Work alongside other mental health professionals, maintaining open communication to coordinate client care and consult on complex cases, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

You will primarily serve young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clinic employs a comprehensive approach that integrates holistic and evidence-based treatment modalities, providing each client with the tools they need to thrive. You will be instrumental in not only addressing their immediate concerns but also empowering them to achieve long-term recovery and emotional stability.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and possess a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation. Your experience in a clinical setting, particularly with young adults, will be key in delivering impactful counseling services.

We prefer candidates with previous experience in telehealth or virtual counseling environments, as well as those familiar with evidence-based treatment practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic modalities would be advantageous.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
