Rental Territory Manager

PAPE' MACHINERY, INC. – CONSTRUCTION & FORESTRY DIVISION – SACRAMENTO, CA Rental Territory Manager Pape' Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is looking for a rental equipment salesperson to join the team. What You’ll Do As our Rental Territory Manager, you will promote the short‑term rental fleet to customers in your assigned territory, collaborating closely with the Regional Rental Manager to coordinate opportunities and submit required documentation. You will spend at least 80% of your time calling on customers, reviewing and processing rental leads within 24 hours, building relationships with re‑rental partners, monitoring fleet usage, and managing time and territory to meet department goals. What You Need Proven sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry. Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment; John Deere knowledge is a plus. Experience with equipment rentals is ideal. Excellent customer relations skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
