Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. Work Schedule: Monday/Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm, Wednesday/Friday 8:30am-4:00pm, Thursday 12:00pm-7:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, or Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees, are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Pay Range $17.75 - $24.50 per hour.
