The Community Outreach Coordinator delivers outreach programs in schools and communities to girls who may not otherwise receive a Girl Scout experience.ACCOUNTABILITIESFacilitates and coordinates outreach programs and series in K-12 schools and communitiesReaches target populations in underserved and not served Girl Scout areasIs well-versed in our outreach curriculum and maintains the integrity of the curriculum during deliveryMaintains relationships with personnel at outreach delivery sitesIs compliant with all funding source and internal program requirementsCompletes all required documentation in an accurate, thorough and timely mannerMeets or exceeds all assigned departmental goals and works to support the overall goals of the CouncilRepresents the organization in a professional manner at all times and communicates effectivelyWorks to advance the mission of Girl ScoutsAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSSupports organizational diversity and membership goals of CouncilAll educational backgrounds consideredBasic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge and experiencePublic speaking and presentation skillsExperience in program development and facilitationWorks collaboratively internally and externallyProven record of success opening doors within the community, and cultivating new relationships resulting in impactful partnershipsOrganized and self-motivated; strong human relations and communications skills, ability to effectively manage several projects at one timeExcellent decision-making and human relations skillsCurrent Valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance and vehicle availability for work purposesAbility to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends requiredAbility to perform tasks that require walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching and moderate lifting (less than 30 pounds) Ability to tolerate exposure to seasonal weather conditionNew team members agree to accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law and become a member of Girl Scouts of the USA as well as completing a background check prior to their start date.
