Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor. Review cashier exception reports. Conduct internal theft surveillance. Review theft activity reports and follow up as necessary. Conduct shoplifting surveillance. Report safety hazards to Store Leadership. Test and inspect camera equipment for effective operation. Review alarm system printer for suspicious activity. Participate in apprehending those in violation of the law and assist in prosecution of external theft cases. Engage in extensive documentation and report writing, including relevant facts for litigation. Testify in criminal court and/or civil court proceedings. Adhere to all safety practices, principles, guidelines, and policies. Practice 200% safety accountability. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Current or previous experience in asset protection, security, military, or law enforcement a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Meijer
