SM-3 IIA Associate Director

Overview Finance Lead – SM-3 IIA Program (Shipboard Missiles). Location: Tucson, AZ. On-site role for U.S. citizens with a valid Secret security clearance. Responsibilities Lead a team of 20+ finance professionals across the U.S., providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development. Partner with the SM-3 IIA Program Leader, Shipboard Missiles Finance Leader, and other functional partners to drive predictable financial outcomes and program execution. Implement rigorous financial controls to manage munitions acceleration contracts with multi‑year production and substantial investment. Oversee the financial management of a large portfolio of programs, including EACs, EVMS, and AOP/LRP execution. Provide proactive financial guidance and recommendation‑based analysis to ensure program execution and strong business controls. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Experience managing staff and leading business teams. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance. Strong understanding of GAAP, FAR, and CAS. Preferred Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proactive, creative, and innovative with critical and strategic thinking. Sound analytical, problem identification, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to influence others and lead teams to success while developing talent. Experience in program proposal strategy, negotiations, PBP strategy, and price modeling for VIQ. Experience with government contracting, DoD or aerospace. Financial Planning and Analysis expertise.
