Hotel General Manager
Best Western Hendersonville
We're seeking just the right person to fill the General Manager position. Must have at least 2 years of experience as a hotel manager. The ideal candidate would have Best Western certification and be familiar with Visual Matrix and Canary. Job Summary: Oversees all aspects of the hotel operations, including guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, team building, and staff development. Responsible for all phases of hotel management, including sales and managing resources, and ensuring superior customer care to guests. Job Duties: Recruits, selects, trains, and manages employees to deliver superior guest services while maximizing revenue and profitability goals. Creates and maintains customer-driven operations, empowering hotel staff to excel in superior customer service. Creates new programs in response to market conditions and revenue opportunities Protects the hotel's financial assets by properly administering policies and procedures for handling cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and all other financial transactions. Also, properly administering procedures to ensure the safety of guests and employees. Maintains high personal visibility throughout the property and the community. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of hotel general management experience, Best Western preferred. Strong leadership and a professional image. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent decision-making ability and analytical skills. Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
