Contract Specialist - Federal Acquisition Service

Summary : As a Contract Specialist, you will oversee the full lifecycle contract administration for a diverse portfolio of complex projects. Location of position : Federal Acquisition Service; Office of Assisted Acquisition Service, Office of Centralized Acquisition Services, or Office of Shared Services Delivery. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert and agency authority on acquisition methodology, including requirements definition, solicitation, evaluation, award, and delivery of commercial and/or non‑commercial acquisitions. Prepare acquisition documentation, determine acquisition strategy, develop acquisition objectives, and construct contractual vehicles. Plan negotiation strategies, coordinate with technical experts, lead negotiations, and award contracts. Review, validate, and provide guidance on price analysis, market research, IGCE, and other pre‑award documentation. Establish and maintain relationships with government agency clients, stakeholders, and private industry partners. Perform contract administration: incremental funding, rate and cost adjustments, change orders, stop work orders, cure notices, government property reporting, progress payments, dispute and claims resolution, and final payment and closeout. Requirements US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island). Meet all eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date.
