Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / Neuro Stepdown

Location: Spokane, WA
Pay: $60/hour | $2,160/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Shift: Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend
Openings: 1

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in a Neuro Stepdown/Telemetry unit in Spokane, WA.

The ideal candidate will have strong neurology and telemetry experience , be comfortable caring for post-surgical neurological patients, and have experience using the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) .

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Neuro nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience
• Epic experience required – hard stop
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5
• Travel experience not required
• First-time travelers welcome

Preferred Clinical Experience

• CVA / Stroke
• Craniotomy
• Pre- and post-neurosurgery
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spinal cord injury
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Chest tubes
• Neuro Stepdown and Telemetry

Schedule & Unit Details

• Days: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend
• No call
• Floating between units may be required
• Expected ratio: approximately 1:4
• 36 hours of orientation
