Position Overview

A leading post-acute care and rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated Long-Term Care and Subacute Rehabilitation team. This leadership role oversees a 42-bed rehabilitation unit and is responsible for driving clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on nursing leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients recovering from illness, injury, and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations on the unit
Support, coach, and develop nursing staff
Ensure compliance with regulatory, clinical, and quality standards
Monitor patient outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and operational management
Foster a positive and patient-centered culture

Requirements

Active Maryland RN license
BLS (CPR) certification required
Associate Degree in Nursing required
BSN and/or national certification preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of Long-Term Care or Subacute Rehabilitation nursing experience
Previous nursing leadership or management experience required
Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
Commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
