District Manager
The District Manager is responsible to ensure that the district meets or exceeds the revenue and profit goals of the current fiscal year budget. They will regularly and systematically analyze and appraise the effectiveness of district operations to ensure that established objectives are met, company policies observed, and prompt corrective action taken when necessary. They will proactively participate in the safety process to promote safe working conditions and ensure adherence to regulatory government and company compliance.
The District Manager will ensure efficient delivery of services in district by monitoring job quality, job safety, and standard practices. They will monitor and control district financial plans, including revenues, headcount, and profitability. They will manage equipment usage and preventative maintenance schedules. They will engage in performance management of subordinate employees to include but not limited to hiring, coaching, counseling, training, and development.
The District Manager will carefully monitor performance of all subordinates through close personal contact to ensure achievement of established performance standards and identify personnel with promotion potential. They will communicate effectively with Manager and Human Resources prior to all hires, corrective actions, and terminations. They will possess a strong technical knowledge of all phases of product lines, including rig-up/down, completions & production.
The District Manager will keep immediate supervisor informed of all aspects of district activity; maintain daily jobs and report data to Area and/or General Manager daily. They will be responsible for the timely submission of bonus ledgers, time sheets, financial reviews, purchasing cards, Authorization for Expenditures (AFE's). They will complete all required district reports to include financial reporting, forecasting, and weekly job reporting.
The District Manager will ensure effective scheduling for all upcoming jobs and proper crew is assigned. They will assist with coordinating equipment rental and/or third-party trucking when necessary. They will ensure all repairs and parts are completed on all vehicles daily. They will approve and manage Purchase Orders and location bills. They will monitor and manage employee DOT logs through electronic logging system.
The District Manager will be responsible to call on customers as needed to ensure quality customer service. They will be responsible for all paperwork being turned in prior to all deadlines. They will be responsible for ensuring that non-eligible drivers are not allowed to drive a Company vehicle. They will be responsible for reviewing mileage/hours of operation of Company vehicles, to ensure proper use, and compliance with the OSES Vehicle Policy. They will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are not assigned without prior approval. They will comply with Attendance Standards.
The District Manager will organize and promote effective communication between the Operation Supervisors and the Sales team as well as all employees. They will investigate all service quality incidents working along with QA/QC, HSE, Area/General Managers and assign appropriate, effective, corrective actions. This position is designated as a safety sensitive position. They will perform all other duties as assigned.
