Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: School Services Duration: 41 weeks 16 hours per week Shift: 4 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based Location & Position Details Location: Marysville, WA Position: Part-Time Physical Therapist (.4 FTE) Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 2027 Pay: $57–$70 per hour Schedule: Flexible Position Overview We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in Marysville, Washington . This is a .4 FTE position, approximately 16 hours per week , with a small caseload and a highly flexible schedule. The school district is willing to work directly with the selected PT to develop a schedule that works well for both the candidate and the schools. Assignment Details .4 FTE / Approximately 16 hours per week 14-student caseload ASAP through June 2027 Flexible scheduling Travel between multiple school buildings Schools are located very close together and are essentially on the same campus , making travel between sites minimal Collaborative school-based environment Responsibilities Provide school-based physical therapy services to students Complete evaluations and assessments as appropriate Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Support students' mobility, positioning, accessibility, and functional participation in the school environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational plans Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers Travel between nearby school buildings as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Active or eligible Washington State Physical Therapist license School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Why This Opportunity?
