Responsibilities
- Provide peri-procedural nursing care in the cath lab and interventional radiology for adult and geriatric patients
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left/right heart catheterizations and PA/Swan-Ganz monitoring
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation; manage patient status and respond to dysrhythmias during procedures
- Document procedures, patient status, and medications in EPIC with accurate charting and timely updates
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with equipment, and collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff; float within the hospital as needed within scope
- Participate in call coverage (9–10 days per month) and ensure smooth patient transitions to post-procedure care

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (license verification required at submission)
- BLS and ACLS required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab and interventional radiology experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing and pass; onsite EKG proficiency of 85% to pass (facility may require 100% on initial Relias test)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and to float within the unit as needed
