Job Title: Part-Time Cook Location: Terrace Grove Assisted Living, Logan, UtahReasons to work here:Competitive hourly wageHighly Positive and supportive work environmentPosition Summary: A skilled Part-Time Cook will assist in the preparation and serving of meals for our residents for the morning shift. The ideal candidate will be be enthusiastic, possess a helpful nature, have experience in cooking for large groups, and demonstrate creativity and flexibility in menu planning.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for residents. Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Assist with inventory management. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.Provide excellent customer service to residents.Qualifications:Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to facilitate teamwork.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably in an Assisted Living or healthcare environment.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Strong cooking skills and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes from scratch.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Current food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.The Sunshine Terrace is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
