If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in your craftsmanship, and are committed to delivering quality work, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.Set up and operate welding equipment for various materials and weld positions.Perform welding operations according to specifications and quality standards.Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.Retrieve materials and fabricated parts from inventory locations.Store and organize finished products and materials.Track and update work orders through the company computer system.Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Required: Minimum of 2 years of welding experience or equivalent technical education/training.Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.Knowledge of safe welding practices and manufacturing procedures.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Basic computer skills and comfort using software to track jobs and production activities.Preferred: Previous manufacturing or production welding experience.Forklift operation experience.Experience working in fast-paced production environments.Skills and Competencies:Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to quality and accuracy.Dependability and strong attendance.Effective communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Organizational and time-management skills.Adaptability in a changing manufacturing environment.Commitment to workplace safety.Continuous improvement mindset.Physical Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.Regular use of hands and arms to operate welding and fabrication equipment.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands.Work Environment:This position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
