Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cardiovascular equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and other cardiac-related procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media and medications.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of cath lab equipment.
• Assist team with patient transportation and positioning during procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed procedure logs and records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze hemodynamic data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
