Government Sales Executive – (Material Handling + Automation) Remote, anywhere in the US | $110K–$150K base + uncapped commission Henry North is partnered with an established systems integrator. They have a long track record in government business, and their capability covers the whole warehouse, from lift trucks to fully automated systems. A long-tenured rep is retiring, and they’re looking for someone to take over their book. You’ll step into existing relationships, with a planned overlap and handoff, and you’ll have a 10‑person systems team behind you doing about $50M a year. What you’ll do Own accounts state by state, with a focus on modernization projects Sell the full portfolio: Raymond lift trucks plus automation and systems solutions Call on bases, government entities, and engineering groups Run long, complex sales cycles from first conversation to award Work as a true partner to the systems engineering team, not just a hand-off point Attend 2 military trade shows a year What you bring Government or military sales experience (DoD, Air Force, or ANG is ideal) Ability to sell both MHE equipment and automation/systems, or a strong track record selling one and the drive to learn the other A proven record of managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Comfort with government procurement, or a strong desire to master it A collaborative, team-first approach Strong backgrounds include: automation or systems sales into the Air Force or ANG. We’ll also look at automation sales pros without gov experience, and at government sales pros from outside material handling. Why this role Inherit an established AF/ANG book.
