Job Duties

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical assessments and medical history analyses
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide valuable intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical environments, positioning patients, and managing instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication management, wound healing, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical component is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
