Backend Java Developer

Location: Onsite, 5 days/week in office in any of the following locations: Pittsburgh, PA 15222 / Dallas, TX 75234 / Birmingham, AL 35233 / Strongsville, OH 44136 / Phoenix, AZ 85016

Duration: 7+ months with possible full-time employee conversion (preferred) / Possible extension

Roles and Responsibilities

• Backend Java development (new + support work)
• Work on development tickets
• Participate in standups and provide updates
• Conduct team and peer code reviews
• Review third-party API documentation
• Refine development stories

Must Have Technical Skills/Experience

• Backend development
• Java
• Oracle
• REST APIs
• SQL

Nice to Have Skills

• Banking industry experience

Soft Skills That Would Make a Candidate Successful in This Role

• Strong collaboration

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Experience

• 8+ years
