Application Support Engineer - OpenText Content Management

job summary:
We are seeking an experienced OpenText ECM Application Support Engineer to design, customize, and support enterprise content management solutions. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in maintaining core platform health, building enterprise integrations, and ensuring seamless document management capabilities across global systems.

responsibilities:

• Configure, customize, and maintain OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, and Documentum platforms.
• Build and support integrations between OpenText ECM and enterprise applications like SAP using REST APIs and Web Services.
• Perform system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and platform troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support cloud deployment and content migration initiatives

qualifications:
7+ years of dedicated experience supporting and administering OpenText Enterprise Content Management solutions.

Proven expertise in configuring, customizing, and maintaining OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, or Documentum.

Strong hands-on experience integrating ECM with third-party software (e.g., SAP, CRM systems) via REST APIs and Web Services.

Demonstrated ability to conduct root-cause analysis, perform upgrades, and optimize system performance.
