Instructional Assistant – Radnor, PA

Location: Radnor, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support a Head Start classroom serving children ages 3–5. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working in a collaborative classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and age-appropriate activities
Support children during learning, play, and group activities
Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Provide assistance with hygiene needs as required (most children are potty trained, but some may need support)
Supervise children during transitions, meals, and outdoor play
Maintain classroom organization and help with the preparation of materials
Communicate effectively with the teaching team and site leadership

Requirements:

Experience working with children ages 3–5 preferred
Ability to assist with basic hygiene and care needs
Dependable, patient, and comfortable in a fast-paced classroom setting
Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances
