Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry – Alabama

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week with block scheduling available; every other weekend required; 1:6 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 13-week travel nursing contract in a 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• High-acuity patient population requiring strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Experience with cardiac drips required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Epic EMR system in use throughout the facility
• Work with a Forbes-recognized Best-In-State Employer for four consecutive years
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent RN experience in high-acuity med-surg or telemetry settings
• Active Alabama RN license or compact license in good standing (no pending applications accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates considered case-by-case
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility (local candidates not eligible)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted for COVID-19 only)
• Compliance documentation due one week prior to start date
