Our extraordinary team supports individuals through our five core programs, including Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC), Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Health Home, and Group Home services, ensuring compassionate, person-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and support for the communities we serve.We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support CLH's quality assurance and quality control operations. This remote position is responsible for monitoring ongoing and completed tasks, reviewing staff work and processes, identifying errors and compliance issues, and ensuring that tasks are completed accurately, correctly, and within required deadlines.The Quality Assurance Specialist monitors staff work, ongoing tasks, and organizational processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. This role conducts file audits, reviews documentation, identifies errors, and provides feedback to support quality improvement. The specialist works closely with staff, department leads, and the Executive Director to maintain high standards of service delivery and compliance with HIPAA, The Joint Commission standards, and agency policies.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor ongoing and completed tasks to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion.Review staff work, documentation, and processes to identify errors and compliance issues.Conduct routine audits of consumer files, staff records, and operational processes.Ensure tasks and processes follow established procedures and agency standards.Staff Monitoring & FeedbackMonitor staff performance, ongoing assignments, and completed tasks.Provide constructive feedback regarding errors, missed deadlines, and documentation concerns.Follow up on identified issues to ensure corrections are completed.Communicate quality concerns to department leads and leadership.Reporting & Administrative SupportMaintain accurate audit findings, quality reviews, and follow-up records.Prepare quality assurance reports and recommend process improvements.Collaborate with staff, department leads, the Executive Director, and leadership.Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree required, preferably in Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, auditing, healthcare administration, or a related field.Experience in behavioral health or healthcare documentation auditing is preferred.Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to review staff work, identify errors, provide constructive feedback, and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic record systems.Experience with Notenetic, iCanNotes, or EHR systems is an advantage.Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and Joint Commission standards is preferred.Work EnvironmentA dedicated, quiet, and professional home office.A reliable high-speed internet connection.A computer or laptop.A headset with a noise-canceling microphone.What We OfferCompetitive compensationOpportunity to work with a growing behavioral healthcare organizationSupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEmployment Classification:Independent Contractor (W-8)
