A day in the life

You start the morning with a well-stocked service vehicle and a clear route. Your first stop: a homeowner with a failing tank. You assess safely, explain options in plain language, and confidently price out a replacement—tankless or traditional, with filtration and efficiency upgrades when it fits. The customer gives the go-ahead. You complete the installation to code, tidy the space, document the job, and move on to the next call. Between visits, you review call recordings with AI-powered coaching tools to keep sharpening your presentation and closing skills.

What you’ll handle

• Serve as a trusted advisor and installer for residential and commercial hot water solutions
• Recommend and sell replacement water heaters, filtration systems, and value-adding upgrades during service visits
• Present clear options, pricing, and benefits—and ask for the sale with confidence
• Install gas, electric, and tankless units in full compliance with safety standards and local codes
• Diagnose issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and educate customers on efficiency and long-term performance
• Leverage AI-powered sales coaching to review calls and strengthen selling technique
• Maintain truck inventory, complete accurate documentation, and keep every job site clean
• Coordinate with dispatch and installers to deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes
• Work overtime as needed due to the emergency nature of water heater services
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What you bring

• Comfort presenting options and closing—prior sales experience preferred
• 1+ year of relevant field experience; plumbing background is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer-service instincts
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical field work
• Coachable, growth-minded, and open to feedback
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record per company policy
