About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Nursing to serve as the senior nursing leader, responsible for the development and execution of enterprise nursing strategy, and the establishment of a vision for ambulatory nursing practice. This role involves leading nursing-related organizational transformation initiatives, providing executive oversight of all nursing operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Clinical Leadership Team, partnering with executive leaders to achieve strategic and operational objectives. They must have a BSN, current nursing license, and BLS certification, with at least 5 years of direct nursing experience and 5 years of management experience in a healthcare environment. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Nursing at the company include overseeing nursing quality and patient safety initiatives, building the nursing leadership pipeline, and fostering professional growth and nursing excellence. The role also requires a focus on clinical integration, organizational accountability, and support for value-based care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operational performance management, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience with EPIC electronic medical record systems. They must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a professional presence, and the ability to lead and drive change. The position demands a leader who can align enterprise priorities with frontline execution, eliminate operational silos, and create seamless workflows to improve patient outcomes, workforce experience, and organizational performance.
