We are looking for a Property Administrator to support leasing operations, resident services, and day-to-day property administration. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who combines strong customer service skills with a sales-minded approach and careful attention to detail. The person in this role will help drive occupancy, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive experience for both prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities:• Engage with prospective residents to understand their housing preferences, present available options effectively, and help convert interest into signed leases.
• Maintain timely communication with inquiries and leads to strengthen conversion results and support occupancy objectives.
• Review rental applications, collect required documentation, and prepare lease-related paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform applicant screening activities, including credit and background reviews, in alignment with established company guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with current and prospective residents to encourage renewals, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
• Contribute to promotional efforts by supporting advertising campaigns, outreach activities, referral initiatives, and community engagement programs.
• Track lead sources and marketing performance, and assist with keeping website listings, advertisements, and printed materials current and accurate.
• Keep leasing and resident information organized within property management systems, and help coordinate move-ins, lease packets, and unit readiness tasks.
• Support day-to-day office operations by assisting with work order scheduling, preparing reports on leasing and occupancy activity, and responding professionally to calls and general inquiries.• At least 1 year of experience in property management, residential leasing, sales, or another customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leasing decisions and successfully move prospects through the rental process.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Excellent organizational ability with close attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with property management platforms is preferred.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while partnering effectively with on-site staff.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to walk stairs and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to meet screening requirements and work in a smoke-free environment.
