TITLE : Substitute Nurse

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Valid Pennsylvania Nursing License

Location : District Wide
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, first aid, and emergency response to students as needed.
• Assess student illness and injury and respond appropriately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with district procedures.
• Implement student health care plans and emergency protocols as assigned.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation.
• Communicate with staff and parents/guardians, as appropriate, regarding student health concerns.
• Comply with all district policies, school health procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administration or supervising nurse.
