Position Overview
A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with endocrinology experience to join its growing endocrinology team. This is a permanent, primarily outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and opportunities to collaborate closely with endocrinologists and other specialty APPs.

Position Overview
A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with endocrinology experience to join its growing endocrinology team. This is a permanent, primarily outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and opportunities to collaborate closely with endocrinologists and other specialty APPs.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders, including:
- Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)
- Thyroid disease
- Adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Osteoporosis
- Metabolic syndromes
- Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations focused on endocrine conditions
- Initiate and adjust medications, including insulin and hormone therapies, under collaborative protocols
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies related to endocrine disease
- Provide detailed patient education on disease management, medications, lifestyle modification, and self-care
- Manage and support diabetes technologies such as CGMs and insulin pumps
- Monitor patient progress, review abnormal labs, manage refills, and handle follow-up concerns
- Collaborate with endocrinologists and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Participate in care coordination, quality initiatives, and population health efforts
- Occasional involvement in inpatient endocrinology consultations, as needed
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- No nights or weekends mentioned
- Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant
- Post-training endocrinology experience required
- Strong clinical skills in diabetes management
- Experience with CGMs and insulin pumps strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, not required
- Competitive salary: $135,000-$150,000 annually
