Bronx, New York - Podiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Clinical Role:

Permanent, full-time position
Seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner
Multispecialty group setting
Nursing home-based podiatry care
Must have at least 6 months of podiatric medicine experience
H1B visa sponsorship available
J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcome
Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative, mission-driven team delivering comprehensive podiatric care
Work across long-term care and select acute care settings

Responsibilities:

Provide podiatric consults in long-term care facilities
Assess and manage foot and ankle conditions (diabetic complications, ulcers, nail disorders, infections)
Perform nail care, callus reduction, and minor procedures
Evaluate gait abnormalities and foot deformities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prevent falls and complications
Educate patients and caregivers on foot hygiene and prevention
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted NP license
DEA required
BLS/CPR certification required
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (LTC/SNF preferred; hospital/outpatient considered)
Podiatry experience preferred (training available if needed)
EMR familiarity preferred (Sigma, Visual, PCC - training available)
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $130,000-$150,000 annually
