About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Biometrics to lead the strategic and operational aspects of biostatistics and statistical programming. The successful candidate will be the senior-most biometrics leader, responsible for defining and executing the biometrics strategy across the portfolio, delivering high-quality statistical outputs for clinical development and global regulatory submissions, and establishing scalable infrastructure and processes. This role requires a deep expertise in clinical trial methodology, advanced statistical techniques, and a strong background in supporting regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities. The individual will also be accountable for leading and shaping the biometrics function, managing departmental budgets, and serving as a key strategic advisor to the executive leadership. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a PhD preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in biometrics within the pharma or biotech industry. Technical expertise in CDISC standards, SAS and/or R programming, and experience with adaptive designs and advanced statistical methodologies is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, hands-on leader with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving execution excellence in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities also include vendor oversight, quality and compliance management, and capability building through continuous improvement initiatives.
