About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Biometrics to join their innovative and growth-oriented organization. The successful candidate will be the senior-most biometrics leader, responsible for defining and executing the biometrics strategy across the portfolio, delivering high-quality statistical outputs for clinical development and global regulatory submissions, and establishing scalable infrastructure and processes. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with a strong background in biostatistics and statistical programming, who can provide both technical expertise and leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director, Head of Biometrics include leading the biometrics function, shaping its strategic direction, and serving as a senior advisor to executive leadership. The role also involves providing statistical leadership across all phases of clinical trials, driving study design, and ensuring the readiness of biometrics outputs for global submissions. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, over 15 years of experience in biometrics within the pharma/biotech industry, and a proven track record of supporting regulatory submissions and interactions. Technical expertise in CDISC standards, SAS and/or R programming, and experience with advanced statistical techniques is essential. The role demands a leader with a high ownership mindset, a collaborative approach to decision-making, and a focus on continuous improvement and capability building within the biometrics team.
