Market Development Manager

Our client is a worldwide Manufacturer/Seller of analytical instruments used in R&D Labs. They are seeking a Market Development Manager to track markets and trends, develop business opportunities, and propose long-term objectives and requirements. The position focuses on new applications and business opportunities in food, beverage, life science, and petroleum markets, and beyond. Our client offers a competitive compensation package, full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities include:

• Discover needs, evaluate potential, and create innovations.
• Initiate collaborations, build relations and establish credibility with collaborators
• Develop and communicate new solutions, applications, and markets.
• Manage projects

Skills and qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or physics and minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in business development with proven record of delivering results.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage markets
• Strong analytical skills and project management acumen.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with all stakeholders of all levels, including top-level executives.
• The ability to travel both domestically and internationally on average 30% of the time.
