Quality Engineer

Reference: 85347-368470GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:To develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve and maintain appropriate Quality targets defined by internal, industry, and customer standards.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Publishes and revises quality procedures and policies (as required). Develops quality and inspection plans based on contractual requirements. Interfaces with customers on quality issues and manages QMS and special-process audits. Reviews contractual requirements to ensure internal requirements, procedures, and specifications compliance.Maintains build records of shelter configuration as required by contract. Provides direction and support to inspectors, including interpretation of specifications. Reviews nonconformances and determines/concurs on disposition. Analyzes and implements corrective action requests and provides feedback for continuous improvement. Reviews drawings for Configuration Management as needed.
