Outside Services Staff - The Lakes at Castle Hills Golf Course

Golf Operation Staff Member

We are seeking part-time and full-time employees who are available to work year-round, including weekday shifts. No seasonal positions are available.

Responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer services for our Members/Guests by conducting the Golf Operation's outside services efficiently.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

1. Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service to provide warm welcomes as Members/Guests approach the golf/staging area or within the Golf Shop areas.
2. Responsible for assisting golfers by loading bags, cleaning clubs and preparing golfers for play ensuring all their needs are met and questions answered. Assist by giving suggestions on proper golf course etiquette.
3. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the storage areas and golf cart fleet at all times.
4. Responsible for marshaling carts in the staging area and assigning golf carts to players so the golf carts can be tracked and verify they are rented.
5. Responsible for assisting golfers after their round by cleaning clubs, delivering them to their cars as needed and checking in the golf carts.
6. Responsible for maintaining club storage areas and cart barn clean and in order with clubs (rental, member, etc.), equipment, etc and in proper areas. Report any damage to clubs or equipment immediately to Golf Shop.
7. Responsible for maintaining the practice areas so they are set-up and continually supplied (ie range balls, etc.) and in order for daily usage.
8. Maintain area outside pro shop so that it is uncongested, neat and debris free.
9. Responsible for assisting and coordinating services with other golf operations staff such as range attendants, cart attendants, marshals/starters, etc. as necessary to ensure seamless and efficient services to Members/Guests takes place.
10. Responsible for seeing that daily assignments is completed in their respective areas, to meet Club standards and as communicated in the Star Service FOCUS expectations (ie orderly/organized work areas, straighten/arrange entry area, straightening/stocking of golf shop, etc.).
11. Assist fellow Employee Partners, Members and guests to ensure delivery of the 3 steps of service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.
12. Notify supervisor of Member/Guest complaints at the time they occur. Rectify, practicing service recover, any complaints as soon as possible.
13. Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last minute requests as needed.

Other Accountabilities

1. Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operation, it may be necessary that each Employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
2. Adhere to all of the various company, club and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the functions of the job.
3. Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
4. Ability to focus attention on detail.
5. Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring others are acting safely.
6. Attendance at daily line-up and participating as requested
7. Wearing a CLEAN and neat uniform that follows CHGC standards daily.
