Key Responsibilities

• Provides safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centric care and support services under routine or emergent conditions across a variety of care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic/urgent care environments
• Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilizes specialized radiologic equipment and techniques to perform a diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures within established scope of practice guidelines
• Transfers images and data to appropriate archival systems, enters technical findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting
• Conducts post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed, documented, and meet department protocols and accreditation standards
• Performs operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a cardiovascular specialty, OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in radiologic technology
• Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification; certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire date
• AHA BLS certification required
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, and radiologic/cardiovascular technologies and terminology
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, follow instructions, and consistently report to work as scheduled
• Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information and demonstrate sound judgment in a clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience working in multiple care settings including outpatient practices, diagnostic centers, or remote outreach clinics
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain composed in high-stress or emergent situations
