Kelly, in partnership with a plating manufacturer, is looking for a Shipping Leader in Raleigh, NC. Our candidate will be a people leader – we are looking for someone who can implement KPI’s and Lean processes with our client. Our client offers growth opportunities to skyrocket your career!

These are direct hire positions, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit, vacation, and compensation package upon hire.

• Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
• Pay: $22 - $26, plus bonuses

Job Description:
The Shipping Manager is responsible for reviewing and managing the shipping processes. Supervises and coordinates shipments through a multitude of shipping methods such as express, LTL, LCL, courier freight, air freight, HAZMAT, customer pick-up, etc.

• Responsible for customer finished goods inventory accuracy, and management of shipping documentation preparation.
• Responsible for all packing, and shipping processes.
• Responsible for shipment accuracy and implementation of corrective measures.
• Responsible for creation of domestic shipping documentation such as packing lists.
• Analyze shipping methods and carriers to determine most cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure product is shipped on a FIFO basis.

Job Requirements

• Promote the company culture within the team.
• Schedule daily work hours based on numbers of orders to complete.
• Ensures implementation and adherence of the company’s safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and order of the finished goods warehouse, picking, and shipping areas.

• 5+ years shipping and distribution experience
