Position Overview Department: 10084 Advocate Aurora Health Corporate - Mental Health Emergency Center Job Type: Full time Schedule: Night shift, 12‑hour shifts (36 hrs./week), rotating weekends and holidays Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour Location Mental Health Emergency Hospital (MHEC), Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. MHEC serves as a central hub for crisis intervention, providing 24/7/365 mental health assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transition care for children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to care for patients and support multidisciplinary teams. Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the care continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
