Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepanciesComplete accurate data entry related to financial transactions and accounting recordsAssist with compliance filings in accordance with regulatory and internal requirementsPrepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlinesReview and assist with the approval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatmentSupport general accounting functions and assist with special projects as neededQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredMinimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsSAP experience preferredSupervisory ResponsibilityNoneWork EnvironmentOfficePhysical DemandsTo successfully perform the duties of this job, the person is regularly required to sit, stand and walk.
