Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.49 / Hour Job Schedule Monday 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM; Saturday 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, assisting with entry screening, directional support, and reporting of security‑related concerns. Support daily operations at a government education location by observing campus activity, addressing routine questions, and communicating clearly with administrators and/or public officials as needed. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
