Key Responsibilities Establish strong, trusting relationships with patients to create a safe space for therapy. Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances. Conduct therapy sessions regularly to provide counseling, ensuring ongoing adjustments to treatment plans as required. Evaluate and monitor patient progress through consistent assessments and feedback to enhance therapy effectiveness. Provide group therapy sessions, facilitating support and healing among participants dealing with similar challenges. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly to comply with organizational standards. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base encompasses a variety of individuals facing mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As an LMFT, you will engage with diverse patients ranging from couples seeking to improve communication to individuals struggling with personal challenges. Your role will be crucial in delivering therapy that is attentive to each client’s unique background and experiences, ultimately allowing for tailored interventions that foster growth and stability. Qualifications A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Strong understanding of clinical best practices when working with individuals, couples, and families. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, particularly with patients facing addiction or trauma-related issues. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders. Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
