Secretary II, Radiology - Part Time - Day

Responsible for the written records and reports which comprise the patient's medical record for each hospital admission/visit, processes all physician's orders; maintains chart forms for nursing personnel to record their observations on patient care; files reports from ancillary departments pertaining to each patient. May schedule appointments, cases, and add-ons; may enter charges for services. Also accountable for maintaining open communication between nursing staff, physician, inter-departmental personnel and the patient. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
