Travel Scrub RN Operating Room

Seeking an experienced RN for a travel scrub role in the Operating Room at a flagship hospital known for its exceptional patient care and advanced surgical services. The position requires broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines and the ability to float between departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical procedures as part of the sterile team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to prepare operating rooms for various procedures.
• Utilize advanced skills in general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma surgeries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient status in Cerner system.
• Adapt to variable schedules and participate in on-call responsibilities when required.
• Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2+ years of operating room experience.
• Proven expertise in diverse surgical procedures including robotics, neuro, ortho, and trauma.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced surgical skills and adapt to different service lines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of hospital safety standards and infection control practices.
• Flexibility to float to other departments and work variable shifts.
