Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Overview Heavy construction equipment dealer in Twin Falls, ID seeking experienced heavy equipment mechanics for service. We are a small family‑owned, non‑union company with a large‑company compensation and benefits package. We have locations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona, and we are growing rapidly—overtime is required. Responsibilities Service customer equipment in shop or at customers’ jobsites. Complete jobs at or under manufacturer’s published flat‑rate repair times. Plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs. Work effectively under pressure independently and as a team player. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment. Experience in a equipment dealership is ideal. Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted. Welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience required. Mid‑level diagnostic ability. Ability to perform repairs such as welding, redo major components (axles, engines, transmissions) and attachments (hammers, shears). Engine certifications are a plus. Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal. Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, recent K4 printout required. Detail oriented and able to multi‑task. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Benefits Above‑scale pay; non‑union shop.
