Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a clinic setting supporting gastroenterology procedures, requiring an active license (if applicable) and experience with the Epic EMR system.

Job Details

• Work in a clinic setting supporting gastroenterology services,
• Scheduled for 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week,
• 13-week assignment length,
• Uses the Epic EMR system for documentation and electronic faxing,

Job Requirements

• Current LPN license required if applicable,
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN,
• Maintain and review patient medical records, notes, and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities per documentation standards,
• Participate in unit teams, work groups, and/or committees,
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives,
• Call and confirm gastroenterology procedures and review colon prep instructions with patients upon clinic visit discharge,
• Room patients in clinic or via telemedicine,
• Review risk stratification forms and assist with patient portal messages
