Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, which focus on preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Leading and supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure effective execution of the prescribed treatment plans, guaranteeing optimal patient care delivery.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using advanced diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Assessing the home environments of clients to make informed recommendations that promote independence and accessibility.
• Administering various therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, traction, and massage, to accelerate recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with case managers and physicians.
• Creating and maintaining precise clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, while ensuring compliance with OASIS requirements.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and contribute to the holistic treatment plans of our clients.
• Providing in-home educational support to clients and their families about physical therapy techniques and device usage to enhance their rehabilitation experience.
• Completing all required documentation promptly and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications
