Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third Grade Teacher to join our team at Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools in Monroe, MI. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reflective, and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires a positive and energetic educator who is flexible and committed to continuous learning.
Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for third grade students.
• Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and learning.
• Reflect on teaching practices and student progress to continuously improve instructional methods.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum and share best practices.
• Adapt to changing classroom needs and remain flexible in approach.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and energetic presence in the classroom.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Third Grade Teacher or in a similar elementary education role.
• Nurturing and reflective teaching style.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Coachable and open to feedback.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing classroom dynamics.
• Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic about teaching.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
