You will:Perform tests and calibrations on electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instrumentsSet up lab equipment to evaluate and calibrate other gages and test toolsDisassemble units, inspect for defects, measure parts to spec, and reassembleAlign, repair, replace, balance, and calibrate components and circuitry to applicable MIL standardsMaintain traceability records, gage usage history, and inventory; issue recall/nonconformance notifications as neededRequired qualifications:High school diploma/GED plus 1–3 years related experience (or equivalent)Computer literate; able to learn test fluidsAbility to follow QAM/QAP/QEI-021 and applicable MIL-STD/FED-STD/ASTM requirementsApply if you’re ready to build hands-on calibration skills in a regulated environment.You start by reviewing the day’s calibration workload and verifying the correct standards and documentation are on hand. In the lab, you move between benches and test stations, keeping tools organized and records current as equipment comes in from production or vendors. You’ll document results, update traceability and inventory logs, and coordinate with users when an item is due back, recalled, or flagged for nonconformance.
