Quality Engineer

We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Oshkosh, WI In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Build strong cross-functional and supplier relationships to drive improved quality performance and align outcomes with business objectives. * Apply APQP, AIAG tools, and Cummins quality methodologies to enhance supplier manufacturing processes and ensure product consistency. * Support supplier audits and progressively lead low-risk audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement. * Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action development to resolve supplier-related quality issues effectively. * Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to ensure sustainable resolution of quality challenges. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to strengthen supplier capabilities. * Support quality performance planning for specific products or supplier segments to improve overall supply chain quality outcomes. * Progress toward independently leading low-complexity quality initiatives, audits, and improvement projects, increasing impact and ownership over time.
