About the Job Business Intelligence Data Analyst / Retail Insights Warren, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite) Contract Opportunity Pay Range: $40 - $45 hourly Please Note: No third-party vendors or C2C. This position is W2 only. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. Alphanumeric is hiring a Retail Insights/Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support a leading global consumer health manufacturer in Warren, NJ. If you enjoy transforming retail sales data into meaningful business insights and have experience with NielsenIQ, Circana, Power BI, or Tableau , this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact with a globally recognized consumer health organization. What You'll Do:
- Lead the transition of retail sales reporting from Circana to NielsenIQ Discover.
- Analyze existing Circana reports and recreate them within NielsenIQ Discover.
- Develop, automate, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Query, extract, and analyze large datasets from multiple syndicated data sources.
- Create and maintain Excel-based reporting and analytical models.
- Partner with Marketing, Shopper Insights, and cross-functional business teams to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Track key business metrics and perform analyses that drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience with NielsenIQ Discover (strongly preferred).
- Experience with Circana (IRI) retail sales data (highly preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to business stakeholders.
