Summary
A growing Texas-based plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an ambitious Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. The attorney will represent injured individuals and families in personal injury matters involving motor vehicle accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries.
The firm provides structured training and support, making this opportunity suitable for attorneys with strong potential who may not have extensive prior litigation experience. The ideal candidate is competitive, accountable, detail-oriented, coachable, resilient, and comfortable working in a high-performance, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Handle plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through resolution
Represent clients in matters involving car and truck accidents, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries
Develop case strategy and work toward favorable settlements and outcomes
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy
Work closely with case teams and support staff
Review and analyze medical records, evidence, and other case materials
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
Participate in negotiations, mediations, hearings, depositions, and other litigation activities as appropriate
Maintain high standards for case preparation, client service, and documentation
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to efficiently manage caseloads
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Texas
Generally 2-3+ years of legal experience
Strong interest in plaintiff personal injury litigation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Ability to manage responsibility and work in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented and receptive to feedback and training
Strong work ethic, accountability, and attention to detail
